A character in The Famed. One of the most complex characters, at that.

So, her biological father is a sociopath and is in prison for the attempted murder of her stepfather. Her mother is dead. And her stepfather, who adopted her, is remarried.

Laura seems like a "wild child" at first. She gets in a lot of fights and mouths off to teachers and the parental units. She also used to self injure. (Her older adoptive stepsister, Lacie, worries she'll go the Amy Winehouse route.) She's really one of the sweetest girls around. She loves spending time with her little (step and half) siblings, and her dream is to become a singer. Well, that and to see her mother again. (In her words, it's not that she WANTS to die, she just wants to be with her mama, and if that means dying, then so be it.)
