Literature Text

If these walls could talk
I don't want to know what they'd say

I don't want to hear the stories they'd tell
Stories of pain and horror
Stories that shouldn't have to be told
Of thirteen young girls
Of two victims not yet born
Of fifteen bright futures
Snuffed out like candle's flamel

Blood stains the walls
The floors
The world
Our hearts
Some sorts of blood stains
Don't show up with Luminol
And never wash out

They huffed and puffed
And the hell house fell down
But the real destruction
Happened long ago
And can never be rebuilt
Not sure what I just wrote.

Well, 25 Cromwell Street was home to British serial killers Fred and Rose West. And while not all of the victims (of which, by the way, there are probably more of than we know) were killed at Cromwell Street, they were all killed by the house's monstrous inhabitants. The house was torn down.

Great poem! But if I lived in Gloucester, I’d have hated to walk down that road.
